Using the simple phrase that God is love, this book explores a bit of the injustice in this world and how it appears that God just says that he loves us. Jonah explores with God the finite, unjust nature of man in comparison with the righteousness of the Living God. The introductory story, entitled Things Undone (pg3) is as close to my heart as anything I have written and expresses this apparently irreconcilable reality of Gods love and mans evil. The conclusion of 'only in and through Christ' is as difficult for Jonah as for most of us; yet, it's truth is undeniable.

This is the most human of my books and is based upon Jude 20-23. "But you, beloved, build yourselves up on your most holy faith; pray in the Holy Spirit; keep yourselves in the love of God; wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And convince some who doubt; save some by snatching them out of the fire; on some have mercy with fear, hating even the garment spotted by the flesh". In this book Jonah discusses covenants both divine ( Luke 1: 68-72 )and human - the remnant (pg 32) and of my greatest friend or the meeting (pg 62) and of human compassion.
